The Revell UH-1D Huey Gunship Helicopter Plastic Model Building Kit, unofficially known as the Huey, was the first production turbine-powered helicopter. When ordered by the U.S. military in 1952, it was originally developed as a medical evacuation and utility helicopter. It saw extensive service in Vietnam, but none more heroic than the missions flown by Major Bruce Crandall.
