The shape is nice in theory
I was excited to try making a different shaped mask, but this mask was a disappointment. Once I sewed it up (with elastic straps - not tie straps) it is very oddly balanced and falls off your nose completely. I'll have to hack in a nose wire just to make it work. There are other free patterns available, I'd recommend you just skip this one. No point in having a mask that just won't stay on your face.

Eager to Try this
Those of you who are having trouble downloading the pattern, CLICK on the rectangle "Get Patterns" button. That will lead you to the Downloading button. CLICK the "Download' button and your computer should automatically follow thru. Don't forget to name the file. I will be making this with 4 layers for my sis on the East coast as 4 layers is better than 2.

Confused about bias tape
I don't understand these instructions: Center trim on each side.
Topstitch bias trim to the end of mask, folding ends so they point out.
Topstitch ends with a turn and turn hem. Can anyone show me a photo of the finished product with the bias tape in the photo??? Or a photo when you are actually making the mask at this point? Thanks

How to download the pattern.
Below the picture you will find two links “How to make it” which shows the written instructions below on that page. To the right of that link is another link “Get the pattern(s)”. Click on that link and you will be taken to another page that will allow you to download the template for the mask. There are 4 sizes. Haven’t made it yet but it looks good.
