SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Ribbon of varied color, width & texture
- Ceramic planters
- Scissors
- Floral foam
- Succulent picks
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
- Wire snippers
DIRECTIONS:
- Wrap one ribbon around planter to measure length, leaving about 1" extra for seam coverage.
- Lay ribbon out to determine how many ribbons are needed to cover planter. Cut all to length.
- Starting from the bottom, use hot glue to attach ribbons. Overlap ribbon starting end over corner slightly. Wrap and glue ribbon one side at a time, pulling taut as you go. Fold ribbon under itself and glue to the overlapped ribbon at the starting end. Repeat until planter is covered.
- Insert floral foam. Arrange picks as desired. Snip off excess stems and insert into foam.
JOANN HACKS:
- Sharp scissors reduce ribbon fraying. Start and end at the same corner of planter for every ribbon to get a clean look.
