However only an hour into crocheting today, the first time I've used them, the head snapped off of one. Very disappointed that that happened. I don't crochet that tightly. I will see what happens with the other, but expected them to be sturdier even though wood because so expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than aluminum! After a lifetime using aluminum crochet hooks, I am so glad I found these Rosewood hooks. These hooks are lighter weight and longer - both features make these hooks more comfortable to hold, especially when crocheting for hours on a large project.. The pointed head makes it easy to insert the hook, even in tight stitches, and the yarn moves smoothly over the wood. I am happily replacing my aluminum hooks with these Rosewood hooks.
