Very disappointing oil pastels
I teach art and do oil pastels on black construction paper. Hardly any color on some. Very poor quality. For the same price I got 3x as much on line from Pentel. They were 100% better. Very disappointed for wasting my money on yours.

Disappointing
Extremely disappointed with this product. The pastels behave more like crayons; they are waxy and do not blend together. The “artist guide” provides a list of texturing techniques such as dotting and crosshatching, but otherwise gives little information. The instructions essentially say to use the pastels as crayons by sketching an image and coloring it in. The tortillon and pencil are standard, and the pastel paper is basically a mid-quality sketch paper. I cannot recommend this product, especially for someone new to pastels. This would be a frustrating and inaccurate introduction to the medium.
