  • Burda 9295
  • Fabric
  • Thread
  • Buttons
  • Basic Sewing Supplies

DIRECTIONS:

  1. To add the ruffle, cut a piece of fabric 10"x 28".
  2. Fold fabric in half wrong sides together to form a 5"x 28" strip.
  3. Sew 2 rows of gathering stitches on the raw edge.
  4. Pull gathers up and fit to the front of romper, placing the ruffle 2 1/4 inches down from the side edge of the front.
  5. The finished edge should be facing up toward the neck.
  6. Sew in a 5/8" seam.
  7. Press ruffle down and attach the side of ruffle to the side of the front.
  8. Finish the romper as instructed in the pattern.
  9. You will only have room for one buttonhole on the side above the ruffle.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from MISSING PATTERN AND COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS I do seem to understand, am I supposed to have a romper already? There seems to be incomplete instructions and/or pattern for this project. Please help would love to make it.
