  • Wire Cutters
  • X-Acto Knife
  • Iron (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wrap: Cut three strips of fabric 3 1/2" x 60" on the same pattern of fabric. Fold and press one long edge back 1/2".
  2. Scarf: Cut one strip of fabric 8 3/4" x 56". Cut 3/8" wide x 8" long fringe on both ends. Locate the center of the length of fabric. Fold and press each long side back 1 3/4", only the center 14" of strip. This will be the loop of the scarf.
  3. Spiral wrap one 3 1/2" strip around a small section of wreath as a test for the best angle to wrap. Start the wrap on the back of the wreath. Overlap the spirals. The folded edge of fabric will be the exposed edge of the wrap. Keep the spacing consistent by matching the distance between patterns on both the inside and outside curves of the wreath. Adjust the spiral to eliminate wrinkles in the fabric. Use hot glue behind the back spirals of fabric to secure the fabric to the wreath. Use the three 3 1/2" strips to completely cover the wreath. Start and finish each strip of fabric on the back of the wreath. There will be an unfolded edge at the last spiral. Locate the scarf over this last section.
  4. Lay the scarf on a flat surface folded in half lengthwise. Lay the wreath on top of the scarf, loop of scarf outside the wreath and the tails of the scarf up through the center of the wreath. Tuck the tails of the scarf through the loop and tighten to the wreath. Pick up the wreath to let the scarf hang down from the right lower section of wreath. Adjust the drape of the scarf. Hot glue under the scarf to further secure to the wreath.
  5. Break apart the floral into small sections. Cut off long stems. Reserve one 4" section on heavy wire stem for hanger. Floral will cover approximately 1/3 of wreath. Place small sections of leaves with berries at the top point of floral, pointing up. Place a small section of leaves at the lower end of the floral section, pointing toward the scarf. Place hot glue on back of stems and leaves to secure. Fill in the area for floral will small sections of greenery and berries. Overlap and intertwine stems. Any unwanted exposed hot glue and wire stems may be covered by individual leaves attached with hot glue. Continue the floral toward the inside and outside curves of the wreath.
  6. Hold the wreath up and balance on one finger to find the top center of the wreath. Cut a pencil size hole in the top center of the back of the wreath using an X-Acto knife. Use the 4" stem wire to create a hanger. Bend the wire into a 1" circle. Twist the ends together. Fold the twisted ends up toward the circle. Place the twisted ends of the hanger into the hole at the top center in the back of the wreath. Hot glue in place.
