Springy now but for how long
I'm interested in this mounting tape's spring quality, that is, its ability to return to its original thickness after being compressed. Specifically, I am building a Normally Open low-voltage switch that doesn't click. The design is 2 rigid brass 1/8" wide strips separated by single squares of this tape at each end. The bottom strip is indented in the center so that the tape only needs to be compressed to half of its original 1.9mm thickness.
My question is How well will the tape retain its ability to return to its original thickness? Only the edges will be exposed to air.

Bring back the old tape!!!
I purchased this tape in the past and absolutely LOVED it for making cards, but you changed it. :-( It is too soft, gummy, and sticky now. I can't cut it with the scissors because it sticks to my scissors and gums it up. It doesn't pop up the images like it used to because this new foam is thinner.

HORRIBLE product
I bought this to use for handing some things in my classroom and it was the WORST product I’ve used. The second side was impossible to get off, and the tape was ruined by the time I was able to get it. I will not be purchasing again.

PERMANENT needs to be more clear
I bought this product to mount things in the apartment I rent. It held great and worked as described. I give three stars because the fact that this tape is PERMANENT is nowhere to be found on the front of the package. That needs to be crystal clear when the tape is designed to not be removable and most foam tape like this is. I should have read the fine print, I know. I sure wish I had after spending hours to get it off my walls.

Bring back the old formula!!
I'm a card maker and I use a lot of foam tape for dimension on my cards. A few years ago you changed from a stiffer, yellowish tape to this new thin white tape. It sticks to my teflon scissors, is hard to cut thin slivers, and the last several inches sticks to the plastic roll so I can't use it. Please bring back the old foam tape! This new tape is awful.

New version is now too hard to use
I've purchased this product several times before and loved it. The new version is much softer than it used to be and now sticks to my scissors, tears, and distorts it's shape so much that it is way too hard to use. Please go back to making this the way you used to.

Horrible new formula
If you've used this in the past, don't bother with it now. I've purchased the 36 yard rolls for years and it was wonderful for crafting. But not any longer. Too thin and gummy. It's nothing like it was before. Sticks to my teflon coated scissors and to each other while cutting, so I have to toss them. Takes way longer to cut pieces for my stamped images. I'll have to look around for something better than this current product. Yuck.

Poor performance
Product did not perform as advertised. I made sure the surface was clean and dry but it would not stick..
