  1. CUTING:
    • Cut 3 yards of each ribbon.
    • Cut two 10" squares from Copper Canyon felt. Mark the center point.
    • Set your OLFA circle rotary cutter to the largest setting, 4 1/2".
    • Cut 2 circles.
    • Set the OLFA circle cutter to 1 3/4". Using the same marked center point, cut smaller circles out of the larger circles and discard or keep for another project.
    • Use OLFA's 28mm rotary cutter and 6" x 24" frosted advantage ruler to cut 2" wide strips of olive felt.
    • Use OLFA's Ergo rotary cutter with scallop or pinking blade to cut leaves from the 2" strips. Each leaf will be different.
    • Use OLFA's Ergo rotary cutter with wave blade to cut 3 strips from each of the 4 different felt colors. Each strip will vary but should measure approximately 1/2" x 10".

  2. FOR OPTIONAL ACORNS:
    • Set OLFA's circle cutter to 1.25". Cut circles from 3 of the 4 'rose' colors of felt.

  3. SEWING:
    • With the 2 main wreath circles stacked on top of each other, sew around the inner circle using a zig zag or blanket stitch.
    • Use the same stitch to sew around the outer wreath circle leaving a 1 1/4" opening at the top and bottom of the circle for stuffing.
    • Stuff the wreath, fold a 3" length of ribbon in half, insert it into the top opening (for hanging) then stitch both openings closed.
    • Center and stack the ribbons on top of each other according to width, widest on bottom and narrowest on top. Sew straight down the middle.
    • Fold each leaf in half. Sew a dart on half the length of the fold.
    • Use a quilling pen to create each rose by wrapping and twisting the felt until the whole length of each piece has been used. Apply ample hot glue to the bottom of each rose to secure the shape.

  4. ASSEMBLY:
    • Wrap the ribbon around the wreath. Adjust achieve an even look. Use a hot glue gun to secure the ends neatly to the back of the wreath.
    • One at a time, fill the empty acorn caps with hot glue. Wrap a Pom-Pom with a felt circle and push the bunched up felt ends into the hot glued cap.
    • Roughly lay the acorns, roses and leaves in place on the wreath. Make placement adjustments until you're happy with the look. Use hot glue to permanently Place each piece.
