wrinkles
I was so happy to find red fabric to make a skirt and purchased what I needed. When I washed it before cutting it out, the fabric was badly wrinkled to my dismay. Ironing it did not make it presentable so I have wasted a lot of money on this purchase.

Great for Costumes
I've used Joanns' stretch sateen fabric for several costumes over the last few years, including their biking red, white, and medieval blue. It's easy to work with and sew. I love using it for costumes specifically if I want something to look very elegant, but not have an intense shine like most satin. This fabric has a very beautiful, elegant sheen and photographs very well, and I'll likely continue using it until joanns stops selling it, haha. (Picture below is using the biking red stretch sateen).

Nice quality for the price
I bought this fabric on sale for the bodice of my daughter's holiday dress. The blue is a very deep navy, which is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to work with and seems like it will hold up pretty well. Especially at a sale price, this fabric is a good value.

Highly disappointed
This fabric wrinkles, which is not totally unexpected with 100% cotton, but with one washing it lost its sheen.
