    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a knit but more like a microvelvet This is erroneously placed in the "knits" section of my Joann's. It has zero stretch (only stretch when you cut on the bias) but it holds it's structure very well. I use it to make Renaissance-style berets (embellished with ribbons, jewels and feathers) and as the structured layer to cloaks and scarves. It's getting harder to find all the colors (e.g. they dropped the Bicycle Red recently and Medieval Blue, Ponderosa Green and Brown have been out of stock for a while.) If you can find it, this is a dream fabric to work with. It sews easily, doesn't pucker or fray. I've embroidered it, appliqued it, sewn zippers and elastic into it. My latest creation is this luxury version of a Hogwart's Ravenclaw cloak with brocade and knit lining and hidden pockets for wand and cell phone (every modern day wizard's necessities). My nephew loves it. (Only challenge was dealing with the many layers of fabric. Next time I'll drop the knit and go with a light microfleece or polyester lining).

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from soft comfortable fabric I purchased this fabric at the store to make a tunic that was supposed to use knit fabric. I love the feel of the fabric and it did make a nice shirt. It washes and dries beautifully. However, I am surprised that it is advertised as a knit fabric since it had almost no stretch to it. I believe the shirt was intended to have a little more stretch. If you are needing knit fabric with stretch, you might want to look into a different knit. Otherwise, I am very happy with the fabric.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from the fabric was nice but I recieved multiple cuts instead of one continuous cut of fabric and the pieces were from different dye baths so the color was slightly different, had to return. Went to my local Joanns instead to make sure I could get a continuous cut of fabric.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who woulda known? I went to my local Joann and they only had a small amount of the fabric I needed. They suggested I order it online. I had no idea you could do that. They gave me the item number and I ordered it and it was exactly the fabric I saw in the store and I got it in less than a week. The only alternative was to drive to another Joann's about 20 miles away-not the distance, but lots of traffic in that direction. I was amazed and am a very satisfied customer!
