Rated 5 out of 5 by from The softest fleece there is I used this to line fur capes for my daughter's wedding. It is so soft and warm. It does stretch a bit. The shedding is most easily handled by putting pieces in dryer on air fluff. Vacuum the bits on your cutting table and/or use a lint roller. These techniques control the mess. A walking foot is a must for sewing with this. Finished result is worth the trouble of working with this. fabric.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money Bought it to line kids capelets, it's the WORST! Too thin, has a one-way nap (ugh), sheds fluff all over the place, difficult to cut on-grain.....I should have read the reviews. Now I have a bolt of this and I'm taking it to the thrift shop, maybe somebody else can find a use for it but I'll never use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fabric, sheds a LOT I bought this fabric to make a 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea cosplay, and it worked well! My only issue was the tremendous amount of shedding from the fabric, it got all over various items of mine (and wont come off easily) such as my Captain Nemo-inspired hat. It worked well though! Pretty durable. 8/10. Azimuth (the character I’m cosplaying) came out great using this fabric, not to mention I’ve made a few plushies of the same character using extra scraps of this material, they’re all very soft and cuddly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful fabric; poorly cut I purchased this online and it was shipped quickly. The fabric itself is beautiful but it looks like it was chopped rather than cut. This was the same for both colors I ordered. I can’t believe anyone thought cutting it like this was acceptable. A rotary cutter or sharp scissors could have prevented such a mess.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Fabric Ever I bought 5 yards of Sew Lush to use as a backing for a memory quilt. This was a nightmare to cut due to the tremendous amount of shedding. It causes major cleanup issues and you will need to thoroughly clean the fuzz in your machine. The fabric has a nap so keep that in mind when sewing pieces together. I used my walking foot to insure the layers sewed evenly. I ordered online and I thought that I was ordering a different fleece. The fleece I REALLY love is PURE PLUSH. Pure Plush cuts with no mess, and is lushious on quilts as backing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this fabric Love Love Love the softness of this fleece, similar to minky, it has a nap. It does shed, so not good for a tied blanket. Wonderful for stuffed animals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite fleece to sew I've made multiple scarves, pants, cloaks and ponchos from this Sew Lush line. Yes it sheds when cut, but you won't find softer fleece. Everything else just pills and feels slightly scratchy compared to this. There isn't a lot of stretch. Make sure you cut your garment accordingly. As for shifting on the machine, a walking foot helps. As does a slightly longer Stitch length. I only wish they had more colors and prints in stock. I would dearly love the heliotrope purple but apparently they don't make it anymore.
