Dritz Magnet is multipurpose, love it!
I have purchased 5 or 6 of these in the last few years. They are strong enough to stay put and hold pins, needles, or stitch markers tightly in place. I have them on each of my sewing machines. In my To Go knitting “toolbox” which is a thrift store 5.5”x4” little tin, I have this magnet on the inside cover. Perfect to have quick easy access for stitch markers, big and small needles. This is a perfect solution so I don’t have to go digging in my toolbox for these things and makes great use of an unexpected space. The most recent magnet I purchased is for a college student I taught to crochet and I’ve made her a toolkit with magnet, stitch markets and needles for Christmas.

Good magnet for pins
I find the flat magnet perfectly sized to place on top of my sewing machine. It gives me a place to put my straight pins while sewing. I didn’t need the hand sewing needles.
