Sewing Patterns

• Pattern sizes are based on standard body measurements & may not correspond to ready-to-wear sizes. Have another person measure you accurately and select pattern size based on actual body measurements.
• For tissue patterns that are used frequently, iron fusible interfacing on the back of each pattern piece to make them more durable.
• Markings on patterns are important, don't skip the step of transferring markings to the fabric.
• Always line up the pattern grain marks with the fabric grain when pinning a pattern to fabric for a garment.
