EARWARMER PATTERN
Pattern is very confusing. Says not to scale and not sure what needs to be 11 1/2 inches. I hope Joann's sends out a new pattern to size. Got the material and not sure what to do.

Not to scale
I tried multiple times to figure out how to get pattern to scale and never could get it. Super disappointed that I bought several different fabrics to do make these for my family and it just didn’t work out.

Fun and quick gift to make
I loved the look of this ear warmer and thought I could make up several very quickly for stocking stuffers. I am so glad I caught the "not to scale" when I printed the pattern because the instructions make it sound like you can just cut out fabric with the given pattern. I adjusted it based on it needing to reach 11 1/2" on the fold, but it wasn't clear if the other cutting lines needed to be adjusted proportionally.

Pattern?
Why is the pattern not to scale? I’m a beginner sewer. Having a pattern that I have to draft is not beginner territory. This tutorial is useless to me.

Not useful pattern
Why give a pattern that could be stretched to almost fit on a sheet of paper. This way there's a lot of adjusting to do which I am not good at making. NO info about material to use as it may need to stretch to fit on your head (which sherpa doesn't do).
