SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • McCall's® 8249
  • 1 7/8yd. Blue Fleece
  • 1 1/2yd. Twill Tape for Tie
  • Thread
  • Sewing Notions

DIRECTIONS:

NOTE: All seams are 5/8" unless stated.
  1. Remove cuffs and bottom band.
  2. Scotch tape or pin top, middle and bottom front and back together at seam allowances to create a one piece hoodie.
  3. Cut front, back, sleeves, pocket and hoodie out of Sherpa.
  4. Follow illustrated sewing procedures with the exception of piecing pattern together.
  5. Serge sleeves and bottom. Hem the sleeves and bottom hemline 1".

JOANN HACKS:

  • When sewing fleece, stretch seams slightly as sewing so that seams will not pucker.
