Sherpa Stool Cover

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1yd 54" sherpa fleece
  • 1 1/3yds 1" nu foam
  • Fiberfill
  • Sewing machine
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Hot glue gun & glue gun sticks

DIRECTIONS:

NOTE: 1/2" seam allowance
  1. Cut a 15" circle of sherpa for top.
  2. Cut one piece 15"x 47" piece of sherpa for sides.
  3. RST, seam 15" edges of side piece to form tub.
  4. Pin circle of sherpa to one edge and seam.
  5. Turn RSO.
  6. Finish bottom edge (zig zag or serge).
  7. Cut a 14" circle of nu foam.
  8. Cut an 11"X 46" piece of nu foam for sides.
  9. Hot glue 11" edges (forms tube).
  10. Hot glue 14" circle to top of tube.
  11. Add fiberfill on top of nu foam circle.
  12. Pull sherpa cover over form.
  13. Pull bottom of sherpa cover towards bottom and back then glue.
