SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • Laptop or Computer
  • Cricut Explore Air™
  • Cricut Standard Grip mats
  • Cricut Premium Vinyl, assorted ass="misspell-word">colors
  • Cricut weeder tool
  • Cricut transfer tape
  • White wooden board
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Open Design Space and insert ASL alphabet icons found in the Cricut images.
  2. Insert A-Z letters and adjust size.
  3. Measure your sign horizontally across and mark the center, for this board it was 14" across.
  4. Insert a square shape and adjust size to 14" across, this fits 5 ASL alphabet icons across each icon apron 2-3", using the square as a reference guide.
  5. Adjust each icon to the appropriate size and change the color of each icon to your vinyl color.
  6. Cut with the Cricut machine and follow on-screen instructions.
  7. Weed your colored cut vinyl.
  8. Using transfer tape, place sticky side down on top of cut and weeded vinyl and apply to your board.
  9. It's easiest to place the middle icon first on the center mark you made earlier.
  10. Then work your way out on both sides.
  11. Once all ASL alphabet icons are on your board, place one by one your A-Z letters on the bottom right of the icon.

JOANN HACKS:
  • Use scissors to individually cut out each icon once weeded, it's easy to place each icon individually on board.
