The Silhouette Cameo 4 allows you to create DIY projects with incredible precision. It uses a blade to cut over 100 materials, including paper, cardstock, vinyl, and fabric up to 12 inches wide. The Cameo has the ability to register and cut printed materials and is PixScan compatible. The Cameo 4 is compatible with the AutoBlade, features a dual-carriage, and includes Bluetooth technology.

I'm not at all pleased.
I think the machine is great however, the software is def not something that you can learn quickly and this machine has a hard time registering upon cutting.

Could not calibrate
I’ve had the machine for about a month and mainly use it for print and cut but for some reason I could not get it to cut evenly. Calibrated multiple times and attempted troubleshooting as well and could not get it to cut properly.

Love this machine!!
I bought the Cameo 4 last October because I was so frustrated with Cricut Maker. Yes, there is a learning curve, but there is so many videos on Youtube and Silhouette America that will help you out. Also there are several FB pages devoted to Silhouette beginners. I use this machine almost daily and love it. If I have trouble it is almost all the time user error.

Christmas gift
This is a Christmas gift so she has not used it yet. I did a lot of research on Silhouette in cricket she already did have a silhouette first generation so I wanted to upgrade hers to the newest can’t wait to see some of the stuff she makes.

Loving it so far!
Awesome so far and excited to learn more. There is a slight learning curve if you are new to the "cutter machine" world. Love the software, it is very robust. If you are familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, or like software -then you will be pleased with Silhouette Studio. I haven't used or owned the competitor machine; however, I did a lot of research and the Cameo 4 not only seems more economical but more robust in features and software.
