The Silhouette Cameo 4 allows you to create DIY projects with incredible precision. It uses a blade to cut over 100 materials, including paper, cardstock, vinyl, and fabric up to 12 inches wide. The Cameo has the ability to register and cut printed materials and is PixScan compatible. The Cameo 4 is compatible with the AutoBlade, features a dual-carriage, and includes Bluetooth technology.

Inconsistent Cuts
I want to love this machine. I had the cameo one for many years, owned my own Etsy shop, and have cut hundreds and hundreds of pieces of vinyl. I’ve never had as many issues as I’ve had with this device. The same settings will cut one way one minute and completely completely different the next minute. Very frustrating.

Worst purchase ever!
I bought my machine not even a year ago and had many issues:
-BLADE ALIGNING TO THE RIGHT SIDE (should be to the left)
-NOT READING REGISTRATION MARKS with print and cut
-BLADE NOT CUTTING
-AUTOBLADE NOT SELECTING PROPER DEPTH
-BLUETOOTH NOT WORKING. Only able to use the machine through USB connection.
-CANNOT FINISH PROJECTS. One day works, the next it does not. Same settings that works whenever they want. I wanted to make some decoration for my sons birthday and I couldn't.
-CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. You can't call them, they tell you in a recording message to go online and chat with them, when you do, it says not available. You send them an email and they never get back to you. NEVER. I'm still waiting on one that I send short after I got the machine.
**Joann tried to connect me with silhouette, but that's all. So I have not got an answer from anyone.
PS. Stick to CRICUT.

Great machine!
I love my new Cameo 4! I have been using my original Cameo until it recently was not compatible with my computer's software. I am so impressed with the upgrades they have made. The 4 is so much faster cutting, has an optional vinyl roll for use without a mat, and is Bluetooth capable. The only downside is the Cameo 4 is slightly larger than my original machine, so it will not fit in the same carrying case.

Love it
I love the Silhouette Cameos... This is my second one, my first one lasted for 6 years of constant uses. Hoping this one does the same or longer. The only thing that is really different is the lid. This one sides back and sometimes it gets stuck. But otherwise, it is Awesome so far

Buy this before the “other” brand
Really the superior vinyl cutting machine. I still have the “other” brand machine that I use on occasion, but Silhouettes software and machine work so much better. The software is more advanced and after playing around with it to see what the features or is a breeze to use. Cuts are more precise and the print and cut feature is far easier to use and allows for better use of vinyl or paper.

Super machine w plenty of perks
I am definitely loving this machine, there's definitely a learning curve, but there's plenty of helpful info on the silhouette site.
