SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Silver pipe cleaners
- Headbands
- Silver fabric
- Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
- Wire
- Wire cutting tool
- Scissors
- Needle nose pliers
DIRECTIONS:
- Use wire cutting tool to cut a 12-18" piece of wire. For the adult headband, cut two pieces of wire, one measuring 12" and one measuring 18". Wrap one end of the wire around the base of the headband, about 2" from the bottom. Allow the wire to arch above the headband about 2", and then attach the other end of the wire to the other side of the headband. For the adult headband, arch the 12" wire below the 18" wire.
- Cut a 1" strip of silver fabric. Use a hot glue gun to attach one end of the fabric strip to the bottom edge of the headband. Wrap the fabric around the headband, making sure there are no gaps and the fabric covers the entire surface of the headband and all the wrapped metal wire. Add hot glue along the headband as you wrap the fabric. Once the entire headband is covered, glue the end to the bottom of the headband and use scissors to trim the excess fabric.
- Bend silver pipe cleaners into star shapes, then using small 2" pieces of pipe cleaner, attach the stars to the metal wire.
