SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Fabric scissors
- Measuring tape
- Iron
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Measure out panels of fabric that are 91 inches long. The width of your panels will be the width of your fabric.
- Iron a 3 1/2" hem from the short side of the panels. These will create the hem and the channel to insert your curtain rod.
- Sew the hem using a simple straight stitch and a 1/4" seam allowance.
- Hang and enjoy!
JOANN HACKS:
- Tape a measuring tape down to the edge of your table or to the floor and mark the 91" mark. Use the table/floor as a cutting guide to speed things up. If you're using embossed fabric like this, use an ironing cloth or use your iron at the lowest setting with no steam.
