- Caron Colorama O'Go, Harbor Frost (2)
- 29" Size U.S. 10 (6 mm) Circular Knitting Needle (Or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Yarn needle
MEASUREMENTS:
Approximately (approx) 22" wide x 77" long.
GAUGE:
15 stitches (sts) and 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.
DIRECTIONS:
Notes: To begin working with the O’Go format, carefully cut plastic tie where the ends of the O’Go meet. Pull tie to remove. Start knitting.Scarf
Note: When necessary, join new O'Go dark end to dark end to continue ombre effect.
Working from lightest end of O'Go cast on 82 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st to 8th rows: Work in garter st (knit every row), ending on a wrong side (WS) row and noting 1st row is right side (RS).
9th row: (RS). Knit.
10th row: (WS). Knit (K) 6. Purl to last 6 sts. K6.
Repeat (rep) 9th and 10th rows until Scarf measures 76" [193 cm] from beginning (beg), ending on a WS row.
Next 8 rows: Work in garter st, ending on a WS row and noting 1st row is RS.
Cast off.
Finishing
Pin Scarf to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth leaving cloth to dry.
