Simply Nostalgic Spring Cookies

• Ivory Icing Color*
• Juniper Green Icing Color*
• Brown Icing Color*
• No-Taste Red Icing Color*

• 18-Piece Easter cookie cutter set
• Cookie sheet
• Cooling grid
• Disposable decorating bags
• Round Decorating Tip 1 (3 tips needed)

*Combine Ivory and Juniper Green icing colors to get green color shown. Combine Brown and No-Taste Red icing colors to get light brown color shown. Combine Brown and Violet icing colors to get dark brown color shown. Combine Sky Blue and Ivory icing colors to get blue color shown. Combine Orange, Pink and Ivory icing colors to get orange color shown.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Bake cookies. Prepare cookie dough following recipe instructions. Using flower, egg and bunny cutters from cookie cutter set, cut out cookies. Bake and cool.
2. Prepare icing. Prepare icing following recipe instructions. Tint 1/3 cup icing each green, light brown, dark brown and blue and 1/2 cup orange using color combinations provided.
3. Using Ivory icing color, tint 1/3 cup icing ivory. Reserve remaining icing white.
4. Pipe cookies. Thin green, light brown, blue, ivory and half of orange icing to count of 18. Prepare five decorating bags, separately, with thinned green, light brown, blue, ivory and orange icing. Reserve remaining orange icing for later step.
5. Cut 1/4" off tip of each bag.
6. Outline and fill in cookies as desired.
7. Let dry overnight, 8 to 10 hours.
8. Decorate cookies. Prepare three decorating bags with tip 1. Fill separately with full strength white, dark brown and remaining orange icing.
9. Using white icing, pipe details on blue cookies.
10. Using dark brown and orange icing, pipe vines and flowers on ivory cookies.
11. Using dark brown icing, pipe center of orange flowers. Let set, about 8 hours.
