The scissors are made of durable material and is high quality. The 10 inch scissors are heavy duty and you can definitely feel the weight while holding them in your hand. The design of the scissors are great and they feel comfortable and secure in the hand.

Most scissors won't just cut any type of fabric, but these do a wonderful job. I haven't had any snagging with these shears and I've had a few different pairs of scissors. I can even double some of my fabrics and they still cut great. They even came with a cute pair of embroidery scissors with a stork engraved on them. Perfect for a sewer like me.

The quality and workmanship is outstanding. The first time I picked up the 10 inch tailor shears I knew instantly that I was holding a very well made pair of scissors. The weight is perfect and the rubber coated handles make extended use a breeze. They are very sharp and cut through fabric like a hot knife through butter. The same goes for the 4.5 inch embroidery scissors. From the moment you pick them up you know have a quality pair of scissors in your hand. The stork shape and gold plating are absolutely beautiful. They are very sharp and the size makes getting close to the fabric to cut the embroidery floss a breeze.

The 10 inch one is heavy and has a rubber coated handle, it fits very easily through thick fabrics and multiple layers too. It is very sharp and has stainless steel blades. The 4 inch one is pretty, lightweight and cuts easily threads and yarns. It has a lovely crane design and has a fine tip for precise cuts.

My mom does a lot of handmade stuff for my daughter, so she needs good scissors to cut though the different fabrics. The stork embroidery scissors are great for cutting around delicate/difficult areas to reach. I would recommend this to a friend.
