The Even Feed Walking Foot was easily installed. I first used it to help sew some curtains for her in some "difficult to sew" fabric with no slipping, no rolling, no problems! My daughter is very pleased being as she sews in various types of fabrics, and the Singer Even Feed Walking Foot helps her especially with difficult "slippery" and heavy fabrics. I have since bought another one at Joann.com, but this time it is for myself!
Date published: 2017-06-21

Rated 5 out of 5 by Elena from Amazing Even Stitching! I love making quilts! But for a long time, my long stitches were getting wrinkled by regular sewing machine foots. This foot is specifically designed for quilting because it provides equal pull on the top and bottom side of the project. This foot has been a game changer, and I'm looking forward to my next quilting projects! Here's a photo of my star-print quilt, with star stitching! It was easy to attach and use when I was quilting. Unfortunately, it didn't last. I used it for a baby quilt (straight line quilting around the blocks) and was using it on a queen size log cabin quilt (straight line quilting around 9" blocks) when the presser foot fell off. I could reattach the presser foot, but it falls off again as soon as I have sewn six inches or so.
