Intentionally Designed to be Difficult
I seriously cannot understand how this product could be made this poorly. Every chance the engineer had to make something simple or efficient on this infuriating thing, he laughed and did the opposite because, clearly he hates those who sew. I am angry at how much time I’ve wasted on trying to just get it threaded! Furthermore, I got it yesterday, and today it’s 40% less! Don’t buy this. In fact, I’ll never buy singer again for having the audacity to create such an abomination!

Awesome! Light weight! Works perfect!
I just bought this item today, read the reviews and realized something doesnt seem right, some people wrote bad about it some people 4-5 stars. So i go pick it up, threads easy. Not only that but i am sewing a snowmobile seat vinyl this is extremely thick material compared to the ones complaining about thread not staying, well duhh tie the ends!! Gotta be smarter than the tool! I would buy another if i needed to, turned a job that wouldve took many hours into maybe a hour or two, i still have to cut other pieces and sew them but heres a rough of the project, yes its not together yet and yes its not pulled TIGHT as for its missing the sides and back, but i couldnt wait to write a review

Horrible
Bought this yesterday to use on a project and it has made 4 batteries explode inside of it while im using it not i have to try to get battery juice of myself and my table.

AMAZING!
So with all the COVID-19 situation, I started to make masks. I use to hand sew them and it took FOREVER! It would take me a week to do 3 masks because I am not used to sewing! I’m like average. With this thing I did 7 masks in 24 hours!!! SEVEN! So yes I highly recommend this for the average person. Like beginners but this!

Worthless thing
Stitching would not hold. Worthless thing, might as well purchase a normal sewing machine than waste your time and money on this handheld device.

Used item sold as new
I was a first time customer at Joanne’s. I needed to hem something, this seemed like a quick fix, due to covid I ordered the pick up at store option, the machine has been used, and I never received a response from customer service. Luckily I didn’t get sick, but this should have been checked before putting back on the shelves to sell. Very disappointed

Worthless!
This little machine flops around like a fish out of water. It is impossible to keep it still and try to maintain a clean sewing edge on your project. Also the stitches are not secure and end up coming right back out. Worthless as far as I’m concerned.

It does the job
I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy this or not because the reviews were very low, but others said that it worked fine. I mean I get it, it is no sewing machine but to me it got the job done. I have been sewing mask by hand for a month and haven't made a lot because it is very tiring and painful to my hand. YES the stitching could be tighter but if you really practice with it and have patience, it works fine. There is also a trick to tying the end so it doesn't unravel. I have doubled my mask quantity because of it.
