The right needle for the job!
I used this needle for a metallic swimsuit fabric Halloween costume. It fit perfectly in my heavy duty singer. And if it wasn’t for my own user error I would have only needed ones of them :) not to be used on thick felt - it feels like it is solely for thinner fabrics and stretch.

Broke on the 2nd use.
I used this on my singer machine and it broke after one tops hem. It was a cotton Lycra jersey, so nothing too strenuous. Even on sale, it wasn’t worth it. Next time, I’ll just sew twice around with a regular needle. C’mon Singer….lets do this better!!!!!!

Perfect for my needs
