SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
DIRECTIONS:
JOANN HACKS:
- 2 Skull Forms/Pots
- 1 Block of Hard Green Foam 12"x 18"
- Serrated Knife
- Wire Cutters
- Gray Floral Moss
- Assorted Black Flowers, 3-4 for Each Arrangement
- Long Black Wispy Branches with Orange Balls
- Long Thorn-like Branches, 3 for One Arrangement
- Long Glitter Black Twigs, 3 for One Arrangement
- Hot Glue Gun/Glue Gun Sticks
- 2 Branches with Skeletal Hands
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut the orange balls off of the branches and cut off the spiders.
- With the serrated knife, cut the pieces of foam to match the openings in the skulls. Make the foam pieces a tad larger than the opening. Force the foam pieces into the top of the skulls to fit tightly.
- Hot glue the gray moss on top of the green foam to completely cover the green foam. Let some of it dangle over the edges of the skulls.
- Start with the flowers and decide to place them into each arrangement in odd numbers, 3,5,7.
- Place them at different heights in a triangle placement to draw the eye around the arrangement.
- Use your wire cutters to make them different heights. Place the tall straight twigs/branches at different heights with the tallest in the background leading to the shortest up front. Place the longer wispy branches around the arrangement to give it more dimension.
JOANN HACKS:
- Don't pack the branches and flowers in too tightly. After you have completed the arrangement, reach into the middle with your fingers open and lift up the stems to create more "air" around the flowers. You don't want to over pack the arrangement.
