DIRECTIONS:

  1. Trim a piece of white cardstock that measures 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" and fold in half to create an A2-sized card base (4 1/4"x 5 1/2").
  2. Use two Rectangle Infinity Dies to die-cut a thin 1/8"-wide rectangle border from white cardstock. Color with a glitter brush marker and adhere to card base with liquid adhesive.
  3. Die-cut a heart from white cardstock. Use a foam ink blending tool to create a gradient of color with Grape Slush, Berry Smoothie and Blue Hawaii inks. Overlap the the colors to create a seamless blend. Mist cardstock with a water bottle and use a paper towel to blot up excess water. Adhere to card base hanging off the right edge with foam adhesive and trim off excess with scissors.
  4. Die-cut “smile" word die three times from black cardstock. Adhere these three words together with liquid adhesive.
  5. Stamp coordinating messages on strips of white cardstock with black ink.
  6. Adhere smile die to heart with liquid adhesive and white sentiment strips with foam adhesive.
  7. Apply a layer of Glossy Accents over the smile die-cut and allow to dry.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

  • Add dimension to your cards by creating your own thick embellishments. Just adhere multiple die-cuts together and cover them with Glossy Accents, like we did on this card with the “smile" die-cut.
