DIRECTIONS:
- Trim a piece of white cardstock that measures 5 1/2"x 8 1/2" and fold in half to create an A2-sized card base (4 1/4"x 5 1/2").
- Use two Rectangle Infinity Dies to die-cut a thin 1/8"-wide rectangle border from white cardstock. Color with a glitter brush marker and adhere to card base with liquid adhesive.
- Die-cut a heart from white cardstock. Use a foam ink blending tool to create a gradient of color with Grape Slush, Berry Smoothie and Blue Hawaii inks. Overlap the the colors to create a seamless blend. Mist cardstock with a water bottle and use a paper towel to blot up excess water. Adhere to card base hanging off the right edge with foam adhesive and trim off excess with scissors.
- Die-cut “smile" word die three times from black cardstock. Adhere these three words together with liquid adhesive.
- Stamp coordinating messages on strips of white cardstock with black ink.
- Adhere smile die to heart with liquid adhesive and white sentiment strips with foam adhesive.
- Apply a layer of Glossy Accents over the smile die-cut and allow to dry.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- Add dimension to your cards by creating your own thick embellishments. Just adhere multiple die-cuts together and cover them with Glossy Accents, like we did on this card with the “smile" die-cut.
