  • Size 9 mm (U.S. 13) circular knitting needle 32" [80 cm] long or size

  • MEASUREMENTS
  • Approx 36"x 40" [91.5 x 101.5 cm].
  • GAUGE
  • 7 sts and 12 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

DIRECTIONS:

Stripe Pat
With A, work 8 rows.
With B, work 2 rows.
These 10 rows form Stripe Pat.
With A, cast on 93 sts loosely. Do not join. Working back and forth across
needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st row: (WS). Knit.
2nd row: K1. ssk. *K13. M1. K1. M1. K13. Center dec. Rep from * to last
30 sts. K13. M1. K1. M1. K13. K2tog. K1.
3rd row: K1. P1. *K14. P1. Rep from * to last st. K1.
First 3 rows of Stripe Pat are complete.
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, rep 2nd and 3rd rows for Garter Zig-zag Pat
until Blanket measures approx 40" [101.5 cm], ending with 8 rows of A.
Cast off loosely.

ABBREVIATIONS
Center Dec = Slip next 2 stitches as if to K2tog. Knit next stitch,
then pass slipped stitches over knit stitch.
K = Knit
K2tog = Knit next 2 stitches together
M1 = Make 1 stitch by picking up horizontal loop lying before next stitch and knitting into back of loop.
Pat = Pattern
P = purl
Rep = Repeat
RS = Right side
