- 1/2yd fabric
- 1/2yd lining
- 1pk SF101 Shape-flex fusible interfacing
- 11" cushion wrap
- 9" zippers, 2
- 2" Buckle
- Kraft paper

DIRECTIONS:
- Seams are 3/8" unless noted.
- Cut two 8 1/4"x 5 3/4" rectangles out of fabric, lining, cushion wrap and fusible interfacing, rounding bottom corners.
- Cut one strip 17"x 2 3/4" for sides out of fabric, lining, cushion wrap and fusible interfacing.
- Cut two 1 3/8"x 8 1/4" strips for zipper insert.
- Cut one 8 1/4"x 4 1/2" out of fabric, cushion wrap and fusible interfacing for front pouch.
- Cut two strips 4 3/4"x 22" for purse shoulder strap, fusible interfacing.
- Press fusible interfacing to purse strap. Fold in half turning under seam allowance, top stitch on edge and folded edge (press fold line and seam allowances).
- Press all fusible interfacings to cushion wrap. Place cushion wrap to purse fabric then stitch around edges to secure. Insert the 2" belt on each side of purse measuring down 1" from the top.
- Sew one end of zipper to front pouch, serge then edge stitch near zipper. Measure down 1 1/2" on front purse, sew other end of zipper. Stitch edges of pouch to front to secure. Make two small pleats at the bottom corners.
- Sew the two strips to zipper for the top, stitch lining to the under zipper. Edge stitch close to zipper.
- Sew sides and lining to complete zippered top, serge. Sew side to front and back, serge.
- Adjust belt to fit, connect buckle to other end of strap to instruction on package.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- Use a size #16 needle for the purse layers.
- Use cushion wrap give the purse a softer look in addition to fusible interfacing.
