DIRECTIONS:
- 5' Garland:
- Lay out one Eucalyptus Berry garland on a flat surface. Spray the branches out to alternate sides turning leaves to face up. Remove the heavy center wires from the two Eucalyptus leaf garlands. Lay one Eucalyptus leaf garland on top of the first garland with leaves pointing the same direction. Save the other garland for the end. Line up the center stems. Spiral 1' pieces of wire around the center stems. Attach one section of wire to the end of the previous section to eliminate tying off each section.
- Dry fit all other floral to taste. Tuck stems in between wired center stem of garlands if possible. Start at one end and hot glue all floral together. Hot glue sections of random leaves to cover wired central stem. Mix the variety of leaves and floral to naturalize. Use some of the leaves from the second Eucalyptus leaf garland that was not used at the start to cover hot glue joints and wires.
- Flip the garland. Hot glue any leftover greenery to cover all of the wires on the center stem.
- Runner:
- Choose a fabric to compliment the colors of the floral arrangement. Measure the widest portion of the garland. Add 6" to that measurement for the width of the fabric, 2" will be the double folded edges. The final measurement will be 4" wider than the garland. Measure the length of the garland. Add inches to that length plus 2" for the double folded edges. Cut the fabric. Double fold the raw edges and press if possible. Angle cut the corners after the first fold. This will reduce bulk in the corner and provide a crisp point. Stitch close to the fold.
JOANN HACKS:
