SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Bright White Candy Melts Candy (12 oz. needed)
- Red Candy Melts Candy (1/2 oz. needed)
- Green Candy Melts Candy (1/2 oz. needed)
- Classic Christmas Sprinkles Mix
- Red, White and Green Round Chocolate Candies
- Metallic Edible Cake Paint
- Disposable Decorating Bags
- Silicone Ornament Candy Mold
- Spoon
- 5-Piece Decorating Brush Set
DIRECTIONS:
- Melt candy. Melt Bright White, Red and Green Candy Melts candy, separately, according to package instructions.
- Prepare two decorating bags, separately, with melted red and green candy; cut small tip in each bag.
- Pipe candy. Using red and green candy, pipe details in molds. Let set at room temperature, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Using a spoon, drop a heaping spoonful of white candy in each cavity. Using a decorating brush, carefully brush white candy up sides of mold; chill until set, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- If necessary, repeat for another coat of white candy, chilling again for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Carefully remove candy from mold. Repeat step 2 for a total of 12 ornament halves.
- Assemble ornaments. Combine sprinkles with red, white and green candies. Fill bottom half of ornaments with sprinkles mix.
- Prepare decorating bag with remaining white candy; cut small tip. Pipe melted candy along edge of top half of ornaments; attach to bottom halves.
- If needed, add additional melted white candy to fill any seam gaps, using a spatula to smooth.
- Using gold and silver cake paint, paint tops of ornaments; let dry, about 10 minutes.
