JOANN HACKS:

  • If making multiple cupcake toppers and wraps, highlight over entire topper or wrap and duplicate as many times as needed.
  • You can only do a print/cut with white paper. For cupcakes wrappers, the best is a 100lb+ cardstock that is a matte or glossy finish so your color prints bright.
  • After cupcake wraps are cut and off of the mat, use a thick marker to slowly roll the wrap around. This will help the wrap stay smooth and connect into the insert easily. It also helps the paper not get bent especially if you are using a thick glitter cardstock.
  • If you have a cricut maker you can cut the cloud out of white felt, or with the cricut explore use the paper cloud and trace over felt and hand cut cloud to give your topper a more 2D look to the cloud.
