SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1/2 mm stretch magic cord
  • Misc. sized rainbow beads
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Use a piece of stretch magic cord to measure the circumference of your wrist to determine the bracelet length. Once you know the length cut the cord 3" longer than the desired length.
  2. Thread the desired bead pattern onto the stretch magic cord. Fill the cord with beads only to the measured length, keep the additional 3" of cord blank.
  3. For the first bracelet, place the beaded strand around your wrist holding the ends to make sure the length is correct. Adjust if needed.
  4. Secure the beads in place by knotting the elastic cord several times. Cut off excess cord.
  5. Repeat steps 1/4 to create the desired number of bracelets.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:

  • A quick way to see if you have enough beads in place is to mark your measurement on a piece of paper and lay the beaded strand onto the paper to check periodically as you're beading.

  • Make sure to do 3-5 knots at the end to secure and keep from unknotting and breaking. You can thread the ends back through the beads to hide them or trim back.
