Stamp Layering with Ombré Inks

• Iridescent Sequins
• White Cardstock
• Grey Cardstock
• Paper Trimmer
• Scissors

• Foam Adhesive
• Liquid Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 3.75"x 5". Working on a piece of scratch paper or a craft mat, secure the stencil over the paper with masking tape.
2. Paint over the stencil using white acrylic paint. Remove the stencil and allow cardstock to dry. Be sure to wash stencil and paintbrush with water before it dries.
3. On white cardstock, stamp the leaves and flowers using ombré inks and black ink. For the leaves, use the Hero Arts Lime to Forever Green Ombré Ink for the base layer and black ink for the leaf veins. For the flowers, use black ink for the outline layer and hydrandea and dolphin ombré inks for the other two layers.
4. Trim out the leaves and flowers with a scissors.
5. On a strip of grey cardstock, stamp the "sending prayers" message using black ink.
6. Trim a piece of grey cardstock to 5.5"x 8.5" and fold in half to create the card base.
7. Adhere the stenciled panel to the card base using foam adhesive.
8. Adhere the message strip, leaves and flowers using liquid adhesive and foam adhesive.
9. Adhere iridescent sequins using mini glue dots.

JOANN HACKS:

• To get the best results with ombré inks, gently tap the stamp back and forth on the ink pad, making sure to overlap the colors.
