Stay Awhile Layout

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• DCWV Humble Abode Stack
• Scissors
• Paper Trimmer
• 3/4" and 1" Circle Punches or Dies
• Adhesive
• Optional: Heart Puffy Stickers, Sewing Machine, Pen

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim 8 1/2"x 9 1/2" rectangle from notebook patterned paper and adhere to the center of blue striped pattern from the DCWV Humble Abode Stack adding machine stitching if desired.
2. Trim 1/4"x 11" strip of aqua grid patterned paper, cut the edges at an angle, and adhere to bottom of notebook pattern stitching if desired.
3. Fussy cut houses, words, and flowers from various patterned papers in the DCWV Humble Abode Stack. Adhere to layout, along with photo, as shown, using foam adhesive where desired.
4. Punch or die cut small sentiments into 1" and 3/4" circles. Use a pen to add a black outline and adhere to the layout using foam tape where desired.
5. Trim two sentiments into strips, cut the edges at an angle, and adhere below title.
6. Add puffy hearts to some of the houses if desired.

• Adhering elements with different amounts of dimension creates depth and interest, like the houses lined across the bottom of this layout.
