Colors are NOT as pictured online
I ordered the “pink” fabric and made a special trip to the store to pick it up. The plan was to make it into a tree skirt for my vintage ornament tree so I wanted a punchy pink — exactly what was pictured! Thank goodness I checked before pulling away because it was a dusty mauve in person! I thought surely the wrong bolt had been pulled, but alas this color is actually called “tawny port” in their system and what they gave me was “right”. Joann, update your photos to actually reflect the colors! The fabric was lovely but not at all accurate and suitable for my needs

Purchased for gloves, ended up a skirt
I regret not trying to make a second pair of gloves from this fabric after the first attempt was horribly unsuccessful; the fabric, while sturdy enough for an unlined pencil skirt, is C H E A P.
Cutting the skirt pattern resulted in tonnes of little green filaments everywhere: on the blades of the scissors, on my table, in the air...yuck. Maybe cutting it face down on heavy canvas would have made this situation easier.
It sews up well, and keeping the nap correctly positioned wasn't the chore I assumed it would be with a polyester velvet. The finished product, however... not so great.
I suppose it would be passable in a dimly lit room, given the shine this velvet has; I look like an Xmas tree.
TL;DR: spring for a true cotton velveteen instead of this crap, unless you're making a Halloween costume for a small child.

Not as pictured
The fabric is really well made, but I ordered the blue lt and it doesn't look like the picture. It's far more grey in person, and barely blue at all so now I have to get new fabric for my project.

Very soft & stretchy but DEFINITELY not blue
I got the "Blue Lt" color and it is very soft & stretchy, with good hold and low shedding. However, the color is grey with a hint of bluish metallics. I included a picture so that anyone looking to get this color in the future would know. It's lovely and I'll still be able to use it, but buying fabric online always has a risk of getting colors off.
