Great for learning sewing project!
Thank you Joann's for this free pattern. I helped my 11-year-old granddaughter make this for her first sewing project.

two legs
I wish there was a bottom pattern piece so that it could have 4 legs. Looks cute from the side, but would have been easy to make it stand. I used their pattern and redesigned for 4 legs

What a change for Joann Projects!!
I think this is the first time I see on this website a pattern with no scale (What a change!!) It is helpful because I have not to resize or make experiments. It is true that the quality of the pattern leaves some room for improvement.
For me it is not the first time that I make stuffed animals and, in my opinion, the directions need some more explanations (sometimes could it be a little hard to figure out how to sew the wings or scales). Also I would recommend some light interfacing for the wings if there is only used flannel for them.
But overall it is a great improvement for the way Joann uses to provide the projects.
