SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1/2 yd printed fleece
- 1/4 yd contrast solid fleece
- 2 lbs Fiber Fill (approximately)
- Two 1 1/8" Covered buttons
- Matching thread
- Basic sewing supplies
- Glue (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- To print the patterns, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above). Enlarge patterns.
- Cut out front and back of fish from print fleece.
- Cut out fins from contrast solid fleece.
- With WST, edge stitch around outside of fins.
- If desired, lightly stuff fins.
- Top stitch lines in fins (see photo).
- Stitch side fins to fish along stitching line indicated on pattern.
- Baste top and bottom fins to fish front.
- With WST, edge stitch around outside of fish, leaving an opening in the bottom back for stuffing.
- Stuff to desired firmness.
- Stitch opening closed.
- Follow manufacturer's directions and cover 2 buttons with contrast.
- Sew eyes in place as shown.
- If desired, cut a thin piece of contrast and glue in place for mouth.
