Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Excellent for transferring doll faces onto muslin. Easy to apply with no smudging or running. I've used this on some faded out embroidery patterns to renew them. Also on applique patterns for placement on a quilt or just to machine applique on a quilt. I would definitely buy from again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective to Transfer Embroidery Pattern to Fabric I used these pens to transfer an embroidery pattern to linen fabric. I was very happy with the result. I was able to copy over the outline of a pattern and then transfer to at least pieces of fabric (I have not tried a third piece yet). The only problem occurred when I pushed to too hard on the pen, and excess ink was dispensed. I hope with experience, I will be able to control the ink dispense better. So far this is the easiest method I have found to transfer paper designs to fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have I finally had a chance to use the pens. They are excellent and transfer very well. They are capable of 6 transfers. Since I do original work almost exclusively for myself, I did not mind just one use for one pattern. It does not bleed with a hot iron if used with embroidery transfer paper. It will bleed and smudge if used with regular printer paper. I found out of course. The pen itself has a decent life span judging by the continuous flow of ink. It does require priming before use with a few taps on scrap paper. For my sense of creativity, I needed a path of my own. The pen makes it real. My purchase was long overdue.
