  • Siser Medium Canvas Tote, Natural
  • Siser Weeding Tools Set
  • Cricut EasyPress Raspberry 12" x 10" or Home Iron & Ironing Board

  • To download the SVG files, to load directly into Cricut Design Space click on the links below.

    1. Click "Support Black Artists" for the design, then upload it into your cutter software. If needed, size to fit your surface.
    2. Assign a color to each layer accordingly. In this case, EasyWeed Lilac Heat Transfer Vinyl for the text and fingernails, EasyWeed Yellow HTV for the paintbrush handle, and EasyWeed Brown HTV for the hands and paintbrush tip.
    3. Place EasyWeed Lilac HTV with the carrier side facing down on the cutting mat. Mirror design and cut.
    4. Repeat for EasyWeed Brown HTV and EasyWeed Yellow HTV.
    5. Remove the negative space around each design with the weeding tool.
    6. Set the temperature on your EasyPress to 335F.
    7. Pre-press the tote to remove moisture and wrinkles from design area.
    8. When layering multiple colors, use tacks (1-3 second presses.) Remember to cover HTV with parchment paper or Teflon for each press. Tack the EasyWeed Lilac HTV and remove carrier sheet. Line up the EasyWeed Brown HTV and repeat.
    9. Press EasyWeed Yellow HTV for 10-15 seconds, remove carrier, and your piece is done.
