SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1yd Fleece for Lumbar Pillow 14"x 28"
  • 1/2yd Fleece for Piping on Lumbar Pillow
  • 1/2yd Fleece for 14" Pillow
  • 2/3yd Fleece for 18" Pillow
  • 1/2yd Fleece for 18" Pillow Piping
  • 2yds Fleece for Blanket
  • 2yds Sherpa for Blanket
  • 2 pkgs Cording for Piping
  • 14" Pillow Form
  • 18" Pillow Form
  • 14"x 28" Pillow Form
  • Basic Sewing Supplies

DIRECTIONS:

18" PILLOW:
  1. Cut 1 - 19" square from fleece for front of pillow.
  2. Cut 2 - 12"x 19" from fleece for back.
  3. Cut 2" strips from coordinating fleece by WOF for piping.
  4. Stitch strips together to measure 80".
  5. Make the piping and sew to front panel.
  6. With RST, pin front to back overlapping back to fit front.
  7. Sew front to back using a 1/2" seam allowance.
  8. Turn and insert pillow form.
14" PILLOW:
  1. Cut 1 - 15"x 15" square for front from fleece.
  2. Cut 2 - 15"x 12" from fleece for back.
  3. With RST pin back to front overlapping back to fit front.
  4. Sew front to back using a 1/2" seam allowance.
  5. Turn and insert pillow form.
LUMBAR PILLOW 14" x 28":
  1. Cut 1 - 15"x 29" from fleece for front.
  2. Cut 2 - 15"x 18" from fleece for back.
  3. Cut 2" strips from coordinating fleece for piping.
  4. Stitch strips together to measure 100".
  5. Make the piping and stitch to front.
  6. With RST pin front to back overlapping back to fit front.
  7. Sew front to back using a 1/2" seam allowance.
  8. Turn and insert pillow form.
BLANKET:
  1. Cut the selvages off on both fleece and sherpa.
  2. With RST, pin the two pieces together using a 1/2" seam leaving an opening for turning.
  3. Turn and sew opening closed.
  4. Top stitch around the edge 1/2" from finished edge.
