All are hard to use because they are so tight. Several in pack so tight that they push material up through the middle of clip. Very disappointed as they are so pricey.

A quilt binders dream
These clips are the best for projects but specifically, for binding a quilt. As I blind sew the back, they hold everything in place. The project goes so fast and with less stopping because these clips don't move until you remove them. They hold the mitered corners in nicely too.

Gorilla grip
These are great if you don’t want to use pins or are having kids help you making things. They hold well, and are easy to pull out as you sew. I wouldn’t sew over them, I am not food at estimating where my needle was going and broke a needle on one, but it was my fault.

These clips are not nearly as versatile as pins. The only work at the edge of a piece.
They shiny metal unpleasantly reflects the light from my sewing machine into my eyes. (It is surprisingly bright.)

Very useful
I have been using these for over a month now and haven't experienced any of the issues with breaking that I see mentioned in other reviews. Also, I haven't found them difficult to open. They are very useful in easing multiple layers of fabric under the presser foot. I have used other clips which aren't designed to stay on the fabric while sewing and strongly prefer these. Because of the metal, they are heavier than other plastic clips which can be awkward when working with very lighweight fabrics.

Adequate But Very Stiff
I bought these when the Clover clips were out of stock. Adequate, they do the job and securely hold multiple layers. However, they are very hard to open/keep open. If you have arthritic fingers or weak hands, these are not for you. The plastic on two have broken. I have since received the Clovers and they are much easier to handle.
