One of my favorite fabrics to use!
This fabric was such a great find. I bought one yard in the store in the Dark Purple color and after I finished my first garment I quickly ordered 2 more yards of it in Dark Purple, as well as in Teal and Orion Blue (it also comes in Black, Brown, White, Yellow, and Ash Rose). It does not fray or snag, washes up well, and is a dream to sew. I don't have a serger yet so I overcast stitched the edges, but it probably would have been fine kept as a raw edge too. I made a drapey cowl neck cami with it on the bias and while there were the typical annoyances you face while on the bias it was well worth the effort. The first cami I made I actually ended up selling to a friend or else I would have included a photo. I didn't have any issues with sheerness, but my top did have facings. The White color may need a full lining. It's a great fabric for drapey garments like skirts, dresses, and blouses. I'm sure I'll continue buying it as long as Joann carries it. I plan to make a slip dress on the bias in Orion Blue and probably a mini skirt on the bias in this Teal color. I will also stock up on some yardage of it in White to dye to other more unique colors because it's a great deal while on sale and so easy to work with

Love it but…
I love this fabric! It is great quality and has a nice weight to it. The only problem I have with it is that I can’t tell which side is the right and which side is the wrong side.

Great color but didn’t drape as nicely as I had hoped.
I bought this for a long, unstructured and flowing dress. It handled well for sewing but turned out to be a little heavier than I anticipated. It doesn’t drape as well as I thought it would. I think it will wash and wear well for traveling.
