SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Solid Fleece, 2yds
- Coordinating Sherpa Fleece, 2yds
- Backing Fleece, 1 1/4yds
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- Cutting Diagram
- Optional: Fabric Glue
DIRECTIONS:
To find the downloadable patterns click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.- Cut the following pieces:
- Solid Fleece - cut 1, 48"x 65".
- Backing Fleece - cut 1, 48"x 65".
- Use cutting diagram to cut pieces from the sherpa fabric.
- Use diagram as a guide to place sherpa shapes on the right side of the solid fleece.
- Pin pieces in place or use fabric glue to adhere sherpa to fleece. If using glue, glue 1" in from all edges to avoid where stitching will be.
- Top stitch around all Sherpa pieces using 1/2" seam allowance.
- Match front and back blanket right sides together.
- Pin and sew around the perimeter, using 1/2" seam allowance and leaving a 12" opening on one side for turning.
- Turn blanket right side out. Top stitch around the outside.

- Use a walking foot or reduce the tension on your presser foot to help the bulk layers of fleece and sherpa move through your machine.
