  • McCall’s® 8160
  • Fabric
  • Thread

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut pattern pieces per instructions eliminating #4 back neck facing and altering back as follows:
  2. From the back shoulder seam draw a line 15 1/2" beyond the bottom back middle seam to form a triangular extension.
  3. Construct top as instructed eliminating back facing.
  4. Attach the front facing ending at the shoulder seams.
  5. Make a narrow hem on back opening and bottom edge from shoulder to shoulder seam.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Place a basting stitch along curved edge of ties to ease gathering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need more instructions I attempted to do this following the directions. However, the back piece is cut on the fold if you do as the instructions say. You need to move it over and add the tails to the side that would have been on the fold. You will end up with two pieces this way. Other than that, it is pretty much as stated.
