SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Infusible Ink™ T-shirt
  • Infusible Ink™ Transfer Sheets 1-3 coordinating colors/patterns
  • Cricut EasyPress™ and mat
  • Scissors
  • Cotton string (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Classic Spiral Shirt
  2. Preheat EasyPress™ to 400 degrees.
  3. Lay shirt flat on work surface. Pinch it in the middle and twirl to spiral shirt around the center. Use cotton string to hold folded shirt in place if needed.
  4. Move folded shirt to Easy Press Mat covered with parchment paper to protect surface.
  5. Unroll Infusible Ink transfer sheet and trim to the size of the folded shirt. Transfer ink to shirt by applying EasyPress™ heated to 400 degrees for 30 seconds.
  6. Allow shirt to cool before removing transfer sheet and unfolding shirt.
  7. Re-fold shirt and repeat with other color(s) to create a layered effect.
  8. Tie Dye Stripes Shirt
  9. Preheat EasyPress™ to 400 degrees.
  10. Lay shirt flat on work surface. Accordion fold vertically.Use cotton string to hold folded shirt in place if needed.
  11. Move folded shirt to EasyPress™ Mat covered with parchment paper to protect surface. Fold or spiral the folded shirt to fit onto the mat comfortably.
  12. Unroll Infusible Ink transfer sheet and trim to the size of the folded shirt. Transfer ink to shirt by applying EasyPress™ heated to 400 degrees for 30 seconds.
  13. Allow shirt to cool before removing transfer sheet and unfolding shirt.
  14. Re-fold shirt and repeat with other color(s) to create a layered effect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute idea for the tie dye Tried the tie dye With Cricut Infusible ink sheets, but was not impressed with the results. The instructions are somewhat doable but not great. The results were no where close to the pic posted. Was able to salvage the project using some foil transfer with pretty design.
