Tie Strap Midi Foil Dress

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Pattern New Look 6617
• Use yardage on pattern envelope
• Sewing notions

DIRECTIONS:

Seams are 5/8" unless noted.

1. Use tie pattern as a template.
2. Cut the length of the pattern piece, the width 8 3/4".
3. Follow the pattern instructions for sewing and placement of ties using a 3/8" seam allowance.

JOANN HACKS:

• When hemming a circular skirt, use a turn and turn hem. Sew the first turn up hem of a 1/4" seam. Press. Turn up again 1/4" and sew topstitch hem. Press.
